Deluxe resort dreams but overwhelmed by the price? Keep reading for a guide to staying at Disney DVC resorts and saving money while doing it!
Are you dreaming of staying at a deluxe or moderate Disney resort but scared of the price tag? You are probably not alone!! We have been fortunate enough to stay at a few different Disney resorts thanks to finding out about Disney DVC resorts. The Polynesian Village Resort is definitely our favorite DVC resort to stay at. You can read more about my love for the Polynesian report on this post!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is one of the two original resorts that opened on opening day October 1, 1971
So how do you get the deals on these resorts?? There are a few different ways, but this post will be focusing on a vacation timeshare program called Disney Vacation Club. Very similar to a typical timeshare program but with Disney properties only. Resorts included in the vacation club….

DVC Rental Store
All unique in their own way, and with a price tag sometimes a little too high for the normal budget. Thats where DVC Rental Store comes in! There are a few different companies out there which deal with DVC rental agreements, but DVC Rental Store is definitely our favorite. We had a spring break trip planned and paid for through Disney when I first discovered this company. Essentially what happens is people who have bought into the Disney timeshare program “rent” out their points to the company and eventually to people like us! I worked through the reservation process and ended up saving over $1,000 on our trip! I could not have been any more excited!

There are many companies and even Facebook groups dedicated to renting points and helping you stay at some of the best Disney resorts. But proceed with caution as with many things there can be scammers out there. That is why I would definitely recommend using a company with actual reviews and contracts in place to protect all sides of the transaction.
